Hi there,

I have been searching for a guild Roster for EQ2 for my joomla installation for quite some time! and finally I had found yours! its fantastic, could soneone tell me is it a joomla component? or is it a work of the current roster master flying about? would really appreciate some help in this

Thanks

Alan

Our forummaster is the mighty gnome Dalden, you can always try to poke him in game (we're on Crushbone) or PM him I guess

Hey there,

Actually, the roster we are using is neither.

Its a custom PHP script I developed mainly for our raid system - we use a custom one so I couldn't use anything off the shelf. The other components, the roster, artisan listing, top 10 stats, etc, were created to support it. The roster used to sync itself from the eq2players site, but I havn't gotten around to fixing it since they updated the eq2players site.

Because it is just a clean PHP script that outputs it, I wrap it into a Joomla page, so no component is required.

I'll see what I can do :). I didn't really write the PHP code with the intention of anyone else actually seeing it :P.

I'm currently in the process of re-writing the whole lot using Ruby-On-Rails, and havn't spent much time on fixing or updating the PHP stuff.

Give me till this weekend, I'll see if I can clean it up a bit. I'm not really sure it will be of much use to another guild.
