Creating Fonts

Anyone has already created fonts here and would know good free tools for it? I have a pdf document with which I'd like to copy the font. (it's an adobe font and I don't intend to pay 30€ for it)

So if you know a bit about that I'd love some advises.

It's a pain. It can be done but expect to spend a while working with vectorial pictures. I know how to make it, but not sure how to built the file that can be recognised by OS afterward. If you're really up to the work tell me or pm me, I can ask a friend that work with stuff like that.

Eha: The font is question is Brioso Pro Light italic.

Oh, this was for Mac or Windows XP or Pro or something like that?  Or was it for an older Windows version, or Linux or something?
