This sounds utterly dull compared to the previous ones... where is the overexagerated sarcasm, the completely senseless comparison of Lister, the madness of the cat...? And what the hell, the red dwarf looks like a real spaceship and not some sort of huge plastic pot with drawn buttons? *sigh*

I was so disappointed with these 3.  They just seemed to cram novelty ideas just for sake of them.  It really wasn't the Red Dwarf we know and love.

Yeah you're both right. It seems that they were unable to recall what made each character special, and the whole thing was sorely lacking in laugh-out-loud moments. They had to consistently refer to old episodes, which were actually funny, in order to evince much of a smile from me (ok getting a smile out of me is never easy, but when Red Dorf is involved...?)

Just noticed one of the thing that was making me really dubvious about the new episode... WTH HAPPENED TO LISTER'S ACCENT?

hmmm yes he seems to have lost that harsh scouse inflection to his accent. I can only assume this is due to a decade spent amongst well-spoken thespians (he's in a british soap opera now... ugh)
